Daffodil Dreams Homestead’s shopping cart is protected with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), the standard for encrypted commercial transactions throughout the Internet. SSL encrypts all personal information, including your name and credit card number, so that this information cannot be read as it travels through the Internet.

Privacy Statement

Daffodil Dreams Homestead does not collect or maintain any information about how you as an individual use our website. We analyze our web log statistics as a whole, but we do not track your browsing as an individual, and we do not share or offer this information to other companies.

 

Daffodil Dreams Homestead, like all companies that sell through a catalog or through an online store, maintains a list of current and potential customers.  We like to have email as well as mailing addresses if possible. It’s our best way of staying in touch.

 

We recognize that you may or may not want to receive future offers. If you don’t want email from us, let us know and we will follow your wishes.

We do not rent or exchange email addresses or telephone numbers, and we have no plans to do so in the future. We maintain that information in our own records only so that we can contact you.

 

We do no “direct telemarketing” by telephone or fax, and we will never offer your name and phone number to any company that does. We may occasionally contact our customers to ask them how our service is.

 

What if I don’t want e-mail promotions or other communications?

Please feel free to write us and let us know your wishes. Write to us at daffodildreamshomestead@gmail.com. Although we try hard to avoid it, we sometimes end up with duplicate records for a customer.

 

What are cookies, and do you use them?

Cookies are bits of information that your browser stores on your computer to help a server (such as our website) communicate with you. These cookies are not accessible by any company other than our own website.

 

We use cookies in order to improve your shopping experience. When you visit www.daffodildreams.store or www.daffodildreams.ca, your cookie helps us keep track of your order as you shop at our site. If you are a Preferred Customer, your cookie allows us to recognize you when you return to our site and provides you with access to your account information. We may monitor and maintain information about your use of our Web site in a manner that does not identify you. In either case, this information helps us serve you better by improving our site design, as well as our products, services, contests, and promotions.

 

We also use cookies to track and maintain the identity of the Web site you visited immediately prior to ours to further improve our site design and to fulfill contracts with our business partners. We do not otherwise track any information about your use of other Web sites. Although there are firms that track Internet users via cookies, we do not buy, sell, exchange, or offer this information to them. Nor do we use any such information on our own site.

 

You can refuse cookies by turning them off in your browser. If you turn off cookies, though, we will not be able to track your order or enable you to make a purchase from our site. Nor will we be able to recognize you as a Preferred Customer to allow you access to your account information.

Other than forcing you to log in again, using a cookie cleaning program will not affect your use of our site.

 

What other information do you collect?

As you browse and order on our site, our servers log your activity and your path through our site, recording each request for a page or other information. Daffodil Dreams Homestead collects and analyzes data about how visitors use this website, but we do not use this information to identify or contact individual users, nor do we supply any data that could identify individual users to a third party. We use this data only to improve our site and our services. We do nothing with this information, other than analyze it in aggregate, or diagnose occasional problems.

 

Terms of Service

 

Order Processing and Shipping

Orders are processed in the sequence received. Shipping times are in addition to processing times. Processing times are typically 2-3 business days. If you choose to pay for faster shipping, that will not speed up processing time. Daffodil Dreams Homestead recognizes the anticipation of awaiting our products and we work diligently to fulfill orders in a timeline that meets or exceeds your expectations. We appreciate your patience during busy seasons.

 

Additions to orders is not possible, as payment is taken at the time of ordering, and we do not have access to your payment method to charge the add-on.  Please look over your cart carefully before you check out.

 

Shipping and Returns

Shipping quotes are available online. Parcels will be left without a signature unless otherwise instructed.

*Weather conditions may delay shipping. We apologize for any inconvenience to you.

 

Tracking numbers will be provided for on-line orders, please allow 24 hrs to 48 hours before tracking. This allows time for the parcel to be picked up at our facility and enter the shipping software. If you have any difficulty 48 hours after the shipping confirmation email, please reach out to us and we will be glad to assist you. Ultimately, your delivery is governed by the shipping policies of the third party. We reserve the right not to ship to certain addresses.

 

In-stock items leave our warehouse in 1 to 4 business days, excluding holidays. Actual shipping costs are assumed by the purchaser, including any additional charges for dimensional weight adjustments, extended area fees, fuel surcharge, multiple parcel charges, brokerage fees and/or residential delivery fees.

If there is any damage or error with your shipment, please contact us within 14 days. Include a description of the problem and take pictures if possible. This information will help us improve our system of processing orders. See Returns and Policies page for full details.

 

Picking Up Orders

Daffodil Dream Homestead ships or delivers all orders, we do not offer a pickup option.

 

Lost or Damaged Shipments Policy

Our standard procedure for lost packages will require investigations by the Shipping Provider of the order in question to provide resolutions. This includes orders in transit and orders marked Delivered but not received. Daffodil Dreams Homestead is not responsible for claims denied by Shipping Providers. 

 

Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages / Order issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if there is an error with your order so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

 

Out of Stock Items

Every effort is made to ship your order complete. If an item is out of stock and that product is expected to arrive shortly, your order may be held so that it will ship complete. If it is an item that is expected to be out of stock for an undetermined amount of time, your parcel will leave without the item and you will be reimbursed for the item. Please reorder out of stock items. Larger quantities of product may require lead times.

 

Cancelling Order

Orders can only be cancelled up to 1 hour after your order has been placed.  No cancellations are allowed on shipped items.

 

Pricing and Taxes

Customers will be charged taxes on product and freight at their provincial level as required by Canadian law. See the government website www.cra.gc.ca for further details.

Changes in pricing and availability are at our discretion and may be updated without notice. Sizes and weights quoted are approximate. We reserve the right to limit quantities that you may buy, and we reserve the right to cancel an order at our discretion.

Prices are in Canadian Dollars.

Use of and orders placed on this website are governed by the laws and the courts of the Province of Ontario, and applicable laws of Canada. Users are also responsible for complying with these laws, including intellectual property rights to third parties.
